Understanding to the meaning of transactional and interpersonal conversation in formal and sustainable way in daily life context.

II.            Basic Competence

Responding to the transactional (to get things done) and interpersonal (socialization) conversations in formal and sustained way accurately, fluently, and acceptably, which use the variety of spoken language in daily life context and involve some expressions of giving opinion, asking opinion, expressing satisfaction, and expressing dissatisfaction.

a.       Identify the variety of spoken language and expressions That are used for asking and giving opinion.
b.      Writing a monolog about studentsopinion towards the foreign traditional dress.

·      Students learn some expressions of asking and giving opinion by listening to teacher’s explanation.

·   Students explore the material by accessing the resources that are provided by the teacher

·   Students learn and explore how to use thinkquest.com.




·   Students work in pairs and sign up to the thinkquest.com
·         Teacher explains some expression of asking and giving opinion; and how to use it in particular situation (opinion of foreign traditional dressing). 
·         Teacher give an opportunity for students to find out the other resources about asking and giving opinion by accessing the internet and use some resources that provided by the teacher.
·         Teacher introduces thestudents to thinkquest.com.
·         Teacher gives explanation how to use thinkquest.comand provide an opportunity for students to ask questions.

·         Teacher asks the students  to work in pairs and sign up to thinkquest.com

·   Students discuss with their pair an d write a monolog about Indonesian traditional dress.

·    Students talk to the native speaker of English and use the expressions of asking and giving opinion.

·    Students take notes on native speakers’ responses.

·         Teacher guides the students make a monologue about their opinion about the foreign traditional dress and then send it to the foreigner account that speak in English (online account), also ask the foreigner ‘s opinion towardsIndonesian traditional dress.
·         Teacher asks/ guidesthe students to use some expression that state expression of asking and giving opinion when making a monologue.
·         Teacher asks the students to take note about the foreigner’s  response and foreigner’s opiniontowards Indonesian traditional dress.
·         Teacher monitors while the students having a discussion and making a monologue.
